Symmetry of shape and a natural-looking finish are two of the challenges in achieving esthetic results for temporary veneers. Uveneer™ is innovative technology, used by leading cosmetic dentists worldwide, that saves chairtime spent contouring and polishing. The results are predictable and natural-looking—even for sophisticated cases.
Uveneer Dental Templates
“Uveneer is a masterful dental kit that does a single veneer—or a full set—quickly, simply, and with predicable results. I am absolutely convinced that it will totally revolutionize dentistry now and for years to come.” – Harry Marget, BDS, LDS, Empire State Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry president, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Board of Directors – Melbourne, Australia
The Uveneer dental template set contains 32 templates—16 medium and 16 large. Each size contains templates for upper and lower arches: central incisors, lateral incisors, canines, and pre-molars.
How Does It Work for Creating Temporary Veneers?
After the teeth are prepared for porcelain veneers, temporary veneers are created one or two teeth at a time, taking about five minutes per tooth. Etching, if used at all, needs to be limited to spot etching. Bonding resin may or may not be needed.
Place composite on each tooth and place the appropriate dental template over the composite. The interdental separators would not be needed when creating temporary veneers. The templates have a midline on the outside to ensure proper alignment. They are designed as oxygen barriers while contouring composite. After light curing thoroughly, the template is removed. The veneer will have a natural gloss that does not need to be polished.
What Are Leading Cosmetic Dentists Saying about It?
“I’ve used high-viscosity, flowable composites with Uveneer. The entire procedure from beginning to end including polishing, finishing the margins, and creating tremendous esthetics takes five to ten minutes per tooth.” – George Freedman, DDS, FAACD, FACD, FADI, FADFE – Markham, Ontario
“It is such a time-saving procedure. It is obviously beneficial to the dentist with less chair time, less costs, and it is less costly to the patient. It’s very efficient. It definitely has its place in helping to design a sophisticated case and creating a template for the patient to get an idea how he or she will look. Even for those dentists doing sophisticated composite therapy, the Uveneer system is a very good foundation that can be cut back and layered to create final, sophisticated optics.” – Jack Ringer, DDS, AACD past president (2013-2014) – Anaheim
Hills, California USA
